Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! Wahoo!!
I hope you're doing great and have some fantastic plans for the weekend. Still in lock down here in good old Ontario. Necessary, so we do what we can.
So, what could be a great distraction? Why a book of course! How about picking a type of book that you might not read ordinarily. You read only mysteries? Try science fiction. Read only science fiction? Try an autobiography from a famous person. In your mind, remove yourself from your world and enter a different one.
There is a book called Jupiter's Travels by Ted Simon about a man who rode a motorcycle around the world. There is also The Man Who Walked Around the World: A True Story by David Kunst & Clinton Trowbridge. Can you imagine walking around the world? Or The Last Man on the Moon: Astronaut Eugene Cernan and America's Race in Space. He was the last human being to be on the moon. Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Who Helped Win the Space Race is by Margot Lee Shetterly. Those women were off the charts smart. The possibilities are endless. I'm going to take my own advice and try and find a book that I wouldn't normally read. And I'll let you know what it is when I find it.
Take Care and Happy Friday!!
